We all want a better future for our children. Math and reading proficiencies are at unacceptable levels across North Dakota. We must return to the core essentials of classical education and rebuild foundational civic education. Understanding our history and legacy as Americans is also important. Our children need to understand the priceless sacrifices that have been made by their forefathers – and that their freedom comes at a heavy price.
